Welcome to our Segway tours
Please dress for the outdoors! Warm clothes if it’s cold, stout but light footwear, and
a waterproof jacket. Long trousers are a good idea even if it’s hot.
Your Segway experience will include an introduction to the Segway, a safety brief,
practice time and a 40 to 45 minute ride through our Lakeland nature reserve

Combine technology with nature as you explore the mosaic of rivers, lakes and
meadows on a segway.
The clever, self balancing, technology of the Segway X2 lets you glide effortlessly through
the myriad of paths that Make up the 360 acres of Dinton Pastures Country Park.
On your guided tour of this nature reserve you will see an abundance of wildlife and
plants, some of which are unique to this site.
We will kit you out in all the safety gear, and after a demonstration, get you ‘segwaying’
with confidence in our practice area. Then when you are ready we will take you on our
45 minute tour -

General participant guidelines. You must be physically fit. This experience is not suitable for people with bad backs/necks or pregnant women.
Any other medical conditions, disabilities or required medication must be notified to Berkshire 4x4 on booking, as this experience
may not be suitable, please telephone our office on 01189 778586.
Berkshire 4x4 reserves the right to refuse any person from taking part in any activity.
Segway guidelines. Minimum age for Segways is 12 years old, and a minimum weight of 7 stone (45 KGS). Maximum weight 18 stone (115 KGS)
UNDER 16’s MUST BE ACCOMPANIED ON THE TOUR BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT (PARENT OR GUARDIAN)
Please note the minimum and maximum weights are for your safety as the Segway will not perform safely
outside these limits. If the instructor is in any doubt you may be asked to be weighed. Remember this is for your safety!
