Berkshire 4x4 asks that you arrive early on the scheduled date of your Experience and register for your Experience at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Berkshire 4x4 cannot permit anyone to participate in an Experience without attending the preceding briefing, so it is essential that you arrive on time. By registering for your experience, you warrant to Berkshire 4x4 that you have not consumed any alcohol or drugs prior to your experience which may affect your ability to participate in the Experience.
You confirm that you have read and fully understand the relevant age, height, weight and licence requirements applicable to the relevant experience you are taking and warrant to Berkshire 4x4 that You comply with such requirements. In exceptional circumstances when the Instructor deems that a driver / participant in an Experience is unable to: (a) accept instruction, (b) adhere to safety rules, (c) remain in full control of their vehicle, (d) makes contact with another vehicle, (e) behaves in an inappropriate or unacceptable manner, or, (f) makes contact with another vehicle, (g) is involved in an accident, the session may be curtailed immediately at the discretion of the Duty Manager and/or the Instructor. The safety of all participants on the experiences is of paramount importance.
No refunds will be given.
This experience may not be suitable for some people. It is not suitable for people with bad back or necks, or who have suffered back or neck injuries, any woman who is or maybe pregnant, or any person who has had any operation in the last 12 months. Certain driving sessions may not be suitable for people with a disability or who are partially or fully deaf. Our 1 to 1 sessions can be adapted to most individual needs if you contact Berkshire 4x4 to discuss this before purchasing your voucher. Medical conditions such as diabetes are not a problem as long as you notify our office at time of booking, and let the instructor know on the day. If you are over 17 years of age, you must hold a full driving licence, automatic vehicles are available on request at time of booking. We do not have any formal weight or height restriction, however you must be able to drive an unmodified production car. If you are unsure please call us to discuss any issues
You must arrive in plenty of time. If you arrive later than your stated check in time, you may not be able to join the group, and your voucher will become void.
The experience is weather dependant as heavy rain can cause flooding or unstable ground making the driving dangerous. Please call before leaving home if you are in doubt, and remember any cancellations are for your safety.
Dress appropriately, warm clothes if it is cold, flat soled light footwear and long trousers, even if its hot.
Spectators are welcome, but be aware that not all the course can be seen as viewing is restricted to certain areas. Children must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult over the age of eighteen and no pets will be allowed on site.
Berkshire 4x4 must receive a minimum of 14 days notice of cancellation or re booking prior to the event day, otherwise a re booking fee will be charged. Cancellation or non arrival on the day will result in your voucher becoming void. If you wish to re book, the full value of your session will be payable at the current rate.
Berkshire 4x4 may cancel an event at any time prior to, or on the day for safety reasons. Berkshire 4x4 may change your booking time prior to, or on the day to allow for weather conditions or changes in the schedule.
Berkshire 4x4 will always give as much notice as possible of any changes or cancellations, but it is not always
possible to predict the weather.
Berkshire 4x4 cannot accept any responsibility for any losses or costs incurred for travel or accommodation due to a cancellation, postponement or any change in schedule for your booking.
Berkshire 4x4 reserve the right to refuse any person from taking part in any activity if they pose a risk to themselves, members of the public, employees of Berkshire 4x4 or any equipment owned by, hired or leased to Berkshire 4x4.
Berkshire 4x4 have a strict ‘no alcohol’ policy for all activities.
