General guidelines:
This experience may not be suitable for some people. It is not suitable for people with bad back or necks, or who
have suffered back or neck injuries, or any woman who is or maybe pregnant. Any other medical conditions, disabilities or required
medication must be notified to Berkshire 4x4 at the time of booking. You must be physically fit and able to stand for at least one
hour. If you have any concerns, please call our office to check.
Segway guidelines:
The minimum age for the Segway tour is 12 years old. The minimum weight is 7 stone (45 Kg). The maximum weight is 18 stone
(115 Kg). The Segway is designed to operate safely within these weight limits, and may not operate safely outside these limits.
If the instructor is in any doubt, you may be asked to be weighed. Please remember these limits are for your safety.
Any person between the ages of 12 and 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, over the age of 18, on the
Tour.
The experience is weather dependant as heavy rain can cause flooding or unstable ground making the experience
dangerous. Please call 07990 505566 before leaving home if you are in doubt, and remember any cancellations are
for your safety.
Dress appropriately, warm clothes if it is cold, a waterproof jacket and flat soled light footwear.
Berkshire 4x4 must receive a minimum of 14 days notice of cancellation or re booking prior to the event day,
otherwise a re booking fee will be charged. Cancellation or non arrival on the day will result in your voucher becoming
void. If you wish to re book, the full value of your session will be payable at the current rate.
Berkshire 4x4 may cancel an event at any time prior to, or on the day for safety reasons. Berkshire 4x4 may
change your booking time prior to, or on the day to allow for weather conditions or changes in the schedule.
Berkshire 4x4 will always give as much notice as possible of any changes or cancellations, but it is not always
possible to predict the weather.
Berkshire 4x4 cannot accept any responsibility for any losses or costs incurred for travel or accommodation due to a
cancellation, postponement or any change in schedule for your booking.
Berkshire 4x4 reserve the right to refuse any person from
taking part in any activity if they pose a risk to
themselves, members of the public, employees of
Berkshire 4x4 or any equipment owned by, hired or leased
to Berkshire 4x4.
Berkshire 4x4 have a strict ‘no alcohol’ policy
for all activities.

Your Commitment
Berkshire 4x4 asks that you arrive early on the scheduled date of your Experience and register for your Experience at least 15
minutes before the scheduled start time. Berkshire 4x4 cannot permit anyone to participate in an Experience without attending
the preceding briefing, so it is essential that you arrive on time.
By registering for your experience, you warrant to Berkshire 4x4 that you have not consumed any alcohol or drugs prior to your
Experience which may affect your ability to participate in the Experience.
You confirm that you have read and fully understand the relevant age, height, weight and licence requirements applicable to the
relevant experience you are taking and warrant to Berkshire 4x4 that You comply with such requirements. If You have any
questions or believe that You may not comply with the above requirements, please call the Berkshire 4x4 Contact Centre Team
on 0118 327 1525 to discuss what alternative arrangements (if any) are available.
In exceptional circumstances when the Instructor deems that any driver/participant in an Experience is unable to: (a) accept
instruction, (b) adhere to safety rules, (c) remain in full control of their vehicle, (d) makes contact with another vehicle, (e) is
involved in an accident, (f) or behaves in an inappropriate or unacceptable manner, the session may be curtailed immediately at
the discretion of the Duty Manager and/or the Instructor. The safety of all participants Experiences is of paramount importance.
Refunds
No refunds will be given.
